Just bought this as have been meaning to start supplementing with vitamin D for a while.  According to this article and others vitamin D3 is the way to go (not D2), soft gels are better than tablets (much), and having supplemented for c8 weeks I should get a blood test to see if my levels are where they should be - so I’m starting with 5,000 IUs daily.  Details of the test in the article.  It is possible to take too much Vitamin D, but it looks like I would have to take an AWFUL LOT to get there.
