20. Mind Control Gaming
Our brains give off little electrical signals, this is how brain scanners monitor brain activity. The latest technology allows the control of a mouse via thought power alone.

It makes sense that entertainment applications for this will appear and one company at CES was showing off a game where two people’s minds are pitted literally against one another. Contestants wear lightweight brain scanners and attempt to move a hovering ball towards the other person. The winner is the person who gets the ball to the other side.

It’s a fascinating idea, and although I was dubious a little - it seemed to rely on level of concentration regardless of what you were thinking about - it drew a large crowd and is sure to be a huge class of products in future. Look for Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony to implement this in years to come.

I want this! Looking forward to the non gaming applications as well.
